When someone insults me, I have a choice of 3 possible reactions. 1) I can choose to feel hurt & wallow in self-pity & remorse. 2) I can choose to feel angry & seek to retaliate. 3) I can choose to feel sane & honestly analyze the situation. The fact of the matter is that feeling hurt or angry is always a choice… & an insult is only a bad thing if I allow it to be. If it’s true, work on fixing it; if it’s not, work on letting it go… but either way, gain some self-esteem by taking control of your own emotions. The goal for today: view insults as opportunities!
