“Now is the winter of our discontent” ~Shakespeare.

Try to apply the idea of the four seasons to our everyday lives… our triumphs and our tribulations. Springtime signifies rebirth and leads to new growth. Summer is symbolic of abundance, fulfillment, fun and enjoyment. Fall is the first landmark on the downhill road that leads away from abundance back toward our sense of lacking. With winter comes death, discontent and despair, but the bright side is that it always leads us directly back to our glorious springtime rebirth. The goal for today: let the problems we are currently experiencing in the world be the beginning of the end of our discontent… and lead us back to happiness, peace and freedom! Have a great day everybody!

The Right Road

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference” ~Robert Frost.

The road that seems to have become a superhighway is the one littered with fear, dishonesty, selfishness and resentment. The other road, the one that leads to Purity, Honesty, Unselfishness and Love… has been reduced to a narrowing, grown-in, footpath through the woods. We need to be Honest with ourselves about what road we are on, and why we’re on it… and try to turn the Right road into the one that’s more traveled. The goal for today: choose the road that leads to Love… & make a real difference! Have a great day everybody!

Beauty & Meaning

“My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust” ~Psalms 144:2. The Psalms are some of the most beautiful pieces of literature ever written… but I can’t let the beauty completely distract me from the meaning. God is my goodness tells me that any good I’ve done, came ‘from’ God… ‘through’ me. My fortress is the strength I need to stand against wrong doings… to stand up for what’s Right. My high tower helps me see the Truth more clearly. My deliverer carries me safely from point A to point B in life. My shield protects me from the ever-advancing ills of this world. And my trust is in God rather than people, places and things. The goal for today: beauty & meaning… poetry & practicality… power & performance! Have a great day everybody!

Easily Pierced

The armor of evil is easily pierced by the arrows of Love & kindness. Our problem is that we haven’t been practicing this Love thing properly. The Bible says that “love” of money is the root of all evil… so you see, loving the wrong things, the wrong way, for the wrong reasons, turns out wrong. When we learn what real Love is & how to practice it properly… it is the single most powerful force for good that has ever existed! I want to “give” Love… “freely” out to everyone… “unconditionally” with no strings attached… “purely” because it’s the Right thing to do. The goal for today: practice Love properly & watch it systematically destroy all evil! Have a great day everybody!

What Do You Give?

“You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give” ~Khalil Gibran. I don’t have much to give to you in the way of material possessions, but I do have a head full of knowledge, an hour or two of time, and a heart full of Love to share with you, if you care to have it. I will try to give to you the Right things, in the Right ways, for the Right reasons. Love, compassion, patience, tolerance, kindness, forgiveness, understanding; these are the truly important things for us to give to one another… the really good stuff. The goal for today: don’t be afraid to give out the good stuff! Have a great day everybody!

Logic & Love

“Therefore let your soul exalt your reason to the height of passion, that it may sing” ~Kahlil Gibran. Sometimes I enjoy reading really deep, poetic stuff like this… but my job is to simplify it. Most of my life it was one or the other… logic or love. But this quote is suggesting that we combine the two & really learn how to do this life thing right. We don’t want to be so logical that we become mechanical or robotic, but we don’t want to be on a constant emotional roller coaster ride either… there has to be some balance. The goal for today: love like crazy… but don’t lose your mind in the process! Have a great day everybody!

There are a lot of really good books in this world & we should read them all if we can. Some books help us relate to each other & not feel so alone. Others give us hope & tell us that life can get better. Some make us laugh, some make us cry… some are romantic, some are exciting. But from what I have seen, there are only a very small few that can truly help a person permanently change their lives for the better. The goal for today: if you want to be entertained… read whatever you want; but if you need to solve a problem… you’re gonna have to find, read & live by the Right books! Have a great day everybody!

The Power Of The Will

“Where there’s a will, there’s a way” ~Unknown. Success is always an option… there is nothing we can’t do! To give up is unnatural & it’s actually hard for us to do. We may get frustrated or scared & claim we can’t go on… but 9 times out of 10 we do go on… & we win out! No matter what life throws at us, we can rise above it! We are built to succeed, we are built to overcome adversity, we are built to prove that in God’s world… anything is possible! The goal for today: find your strength, find your stride, find your peace, find your pride, find your happiness deep inside… & the world will be yours, both far & wide! Have a great day everybody!

Give What’s Right

“You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give” ~Kahlil Gibran. There is nothing wrong with helping someone out from a physical or material standpoint… but it is infinitely more important that we learn how to give each other patience, tolerance, kindliness & Love. All the material possessions in the world won’t add up to the total sum of what even just a moment of genuine kindness could amount to. The goal for today: remember always, that your neighbor is far more in need of your Love, than they are your money! Have a great day everybody!

Look For The Deeper Meaning

“You’ve got to find some way of saying it, without saying it” ~Duke Ellington. I love this quote! I write like that… everything I say can be applied to an individual’s life… the life of our nation… & humanity as a whole. For example: I shouldn’t spend more money than I have… neither should the White House… or the G20. The Principles that govern all life on earth are at the root of the things I write. The goal for today: share the tools, that fix ALL of our problems, with individuals in an attempt to change the world from ‘We the People’… up! Have a great day everybody!
