Do You?

Do you REALLY want to know the Truth? I didn’t. I ran from it for years, trying desperately to escape the idea that I was responsible for all of my problems & that changing myself was the only real solution. I got comfortable with blaming others, blaming genetics, blaming the president… even blaming God if need be. I was hell bent on proving that my misery was outside of my control & there was nothing I could do about it. Now I can see that that was all a lie. The goal for today: know that the Truth is that every one of us is free to be exactly as happy, or miserable as we choose to be! Have a great day everybody!

“Crazy people don’t know they’re crazy” ~Unknown. This is a very interesting statement. A lot of people ask me for help & some of them think they know what they’re problem is. So when someone says to me “I have a mental illness” I know they are lying because if you had an actual mental illness… you wouldn’t know it. What you really have is a disorder that the experts call… dishonesty. Fortunately it is a very treatable condition. The treatment that I usually apply to this ailment is honesty. I can show you the Truth & then you can decide whether or not to live by it… & if you do, your symptoms will begin to fade very quickly. The goal for today: the Truth! Have a great day everybody!

What Are You Treating?

At six I almost drown & I had a major fear of water for years thereafter.

What is the solution?

Should I eliminate water… or fear?

Obviously the answer is fear & this is true for all problems.

Should I “hook-up” to get rid of loneliness or get rid of the fear of being alone?

Should I gamble to get rid of money problems or get rid of the fear of running out of money?

Should I isolate to get rid of rumors, or get rid of the fear of public opinion?

Should I take pills to get rid of a chemical imbalance, or get rid of the fear that caused it?

The goal for today: stop treating symptoms… eliminate the cause (fear)!

Have a great day everybody!

Imagine That

Imagine what the world might be like if everybody practiced personal responsibility.

I have finally taken responsibility for my actions… if I’m Happy, I did the Right thing; if I’m not Happy, I did the wrong thing.

I had to stop blaming my DNA… my boss… my upbringing… my environment… my government… & the thousands of other excuses I used in order to make myself out to be the victim.

My life is of my doing & now I know that for certain.

The goal for today: spot, admit & correct my mistakes… not yours!

Have a great day everybody!
