Two Types Of Change

There are two types of change… constructive change & destructive change. Change is always a little scary, but if I can tell the difference between good change & bad change… then there is nothing to be afraid of. If I can see that destructive change coming… I can put a stop to it & minimize, or all together avoid, the potential damage. If I can see that constructive change coming… I can embrace it, rather than fear it, & build some real solid good into my life. The goal for today: know the difference! Have a great day everybody!

Choose Good Thoughts

I like baseball, I like helping people, I like writing & I really like those candies… the ones with the gel in the center & the wrapper that looks like a strawberry.

I could probably write a big, long list of things I don’t like, but I’d rather not give those things my time & attention.

I get to choose the kind of thoughts that I entertain & I don’t want the negatives.

The goal for today: let my mind be filled with positive, constructive, kind, loving, peaceful, useful, helpful thoughts!

Have a great day everybody!

Idle Hands

“Idle hands are the devil’s workshop” ~idk.

First of all, just keeping really busy is never the solution to my problems… they are still there after I’m done being busy.

There is nothing wrong with staying busy, unless I’m doing it to avoid facing my problems.

Furthermore, why can’t I spend my idle time getting closer to God & solving some of my problems?

Idle time can be just as constructive as destructive if I’m willing to put it to good use.

The goal for today: let my idle hands serve as God’s workshop!

Have a great day everybody!

Vital

“To be vital, faith must be accompanied by self sacrifice and unselfish, constructive action” ~Anon.

For a long time I was praying & then waiting for God to take action & fix all of my problems for me.

Now, I have a little better understanding of how this stuff works.

I should pray, then take action & not just any action… but unselfish, constructive action.

In other words I should be asking God to give me what I need to be more helpful & useful to others.

The goal for today, help others… it is vital!

Have a great day everybody!
